Go Green! Earth Day 2014

Earth Day ¬†is coming up on April 22nd, but here at NVC we are already celebrating it! Stop by the library and check out our display and pick up some free stuff ūüôā plus we have a ton of books on how you can be a more earth-friendly person. Using the library is one of the best ways to be environmentally friendly – READ! RETURN! REPEAT!

Tomorrow we will celebrate all day here on campus — ¬†here is the¬†Earth Day Schedule of Events¬†¬†for NVC.¬† And make a special note of the film screening here in the library from 10am-noon in RLC116¬†– we will be showing the film¬†YERT – about three friends who¬†take an environmental road trip¬†for a¬†year¬†and don’t throw away any of their trash¬†— there will be drinks and snacks!

One thing we all need to remember is that if we all just did a little something each day to be green, it would make a huge impact for our planet!  Need some scary facts to get you motivated? Check out these !!!!
